3Open Labs and RoadLaunch announce new industry alliance and Pilot Program
New Transportation and Logistics Technology Hub in Halton Region brings world class capabilities in Transformative Technologies to Canadian organizations
3Open Labs and local IoT logistics tech company RoadLaunch to begin new Pilot Program in Halton Region.

3Open Labs, which is currently located at the centre of Ontario’s Innovation Corridor in Milton has been working to build partnerships and expertise in IoT, AI and Blockchain innovations within the community since 2017. This new alliance will mark the launch of a sector specific program in Transportation and Logistics.
With RoadLaunch, the orchestration of permissions-based data and smart contracts exchange throughout the supply chain will provide leading real-time collaboration with clients’ suppliers including approval processes, supply chain finance for procurement, and integrated logistics services from warehouse to delivery including ground and air freight, “said Cory Skinner, Founder and CEO RoadLaunch. The initiative will begin with a series of Discovery Days sessions, developed for freight and logistics companies in the 401 corridor. Customers will get a high-level understanding of all the moving pieces, new business strategies and operational savings they can achieve through the use of RoadLaunch’s tracking and blockchain technologies. Offerings will also include customized workshops and assistance with the launch of individual pilot projects for companies interested in discovering how IoT and related technologies can benefit them.
The new Pilot Program will help selected customers develop a strategic road map to enable seamless integration for the transportation and logistics industries, where it’s typically hard to compete in for smaller freight companies.
